Review: OBE at the SILMO 2023

Company · October 5, 2023

SILMO 2023 - an overwhelming success!

As every year, OBE was represented at a joint stand at the 2nd largest eyewear trade fair. The fourday trade fair began on September 28th. and both the number of exhibitors and visitors were back to pre-Covid levels.

"We were satisfied with our participation and were able to contact our customers in France but also in neighboring European countries and win some new projects."

A highlight was a new hinge designed for difficult materials called Mariposa. Using a simple connection technique with screws, the hinge can also be installed in 3D printed frames. A spring effect was not incorporated here - especially if the glasses are delicate, the material is self-springing and a spring effect is therefore not necessary.
