On December 4th, 2024, we hosted our third webinar in the emerging field of smart hinges, titled “Innovative Solutions for Advanced Smart Glasses.” This event attracted over 50 registrations from a variety of countries, highlighting the growing interest in this exciting market.
During the webinar, we explored solutions that drive innovation in smart glasses and discussed how these technologies can be integrated into smart glasses. The focus was on two key categories:

1. Solutions for smart glasses with electronic devices located on the temple without transferring information to the front.

2. Cable-feedthrough solutions, where information is transferred from one temple to the other via a cable or FPC, passing through the front.

Within both categories, we introduced regular and flex solutions, as both designs offer unique advantages depending on construction needs. Among the featured products, we presented the Smart Flex concept—a brand-new cable-feedthrough solution with an overbending function. This innovative product not only offers advanced functionality but also enhances comfort for the user.
