OBE at the Hong Kong Optical Fair 2023

The return of the Hong Kong optical fair from November 8 to 10, 2023 marked a significant moment in the eyewear industry. After a three-year break, the fair, which was considered one of the cornerstones of OBE's calendar before the pandemic, took place again. The participation of OBE together with its subsidiaries OBE Trading, GLOBE and OBE Hong Kong was highly relevant.

Initial fears that the trade fair might become less important following the effects of the pandemic were quickly disproved by the high level of visitor interest. Our presence at the stand attracted numerous interested parties who were very enthusiastic about our products. For us at OBE, returning to the trade fair was a sense of achievement that strengthened our conviction to firmly integrate participation into our annual calendar.

Our new products for 3D-printed frames and our "smartlink" - the universal hinge solution for data glasses of all kinds - attracted particular attention. The positive response to these innovations underlines our leading role in the industry.

For the first time, Frey & Winkler from Königsbach-Stein also presented their latest innovations in nose pads at our stand. Our subsidiary OBE Hong Kong took over the representation of these complementary products a few months ago. Thanks to this partnership, we can now offer our customers two comfort-relevant products from a single source.

The Hong Kong Optical Fair 2023 was a great success for OBE and confirmed the importance of this event for our company. We look forward to continuing to be part of this important platform in the future and presenting our innovations to a wide audience.
